St Margaret's Hospice

St. Margaret’s Hospice has been at the heart of Somerset’s community for over 37 years, delivering high quality, responsive and compassionate care to patients and their families facing a life-limiting illness. Through medical expertise, nursing skills and specialist support services, St. Margaret’s Hospice provide physical, emotional and spiritual care to our patients and their loved ones. With two hospice sites; one in Yeovil and one in Taunton, as well as five community based teams caring for patients in their own homes, we continually strive to reach everyone in the community that needs our care, often during their precious last days.

In Taunton and Yeovil, our Sunflower Centres provide support for patients who are well enough to live at home but would like to take advantage of the specialist support that St. Margaret’s can offer during the day. St. Margaret’s has a team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and complementary therapists who aim to improve patients’ and carers’ quality of life. The team provide a range of services to support those with complex needs. They have the expertise to support people with breathlessness, pain management concerns, anxiety, fatigue, and more. St. Margaret’s Hospice is a charity and reliant on the support of the Somerset community to continue to provide their services free of charge and are dedicated to making each day count for all patients and their families.
