Polite reminder - Same Day Appointments
We would like to remind you that only urgent medical matters will be allocated to the same day appointment system. There are a limited number of same day appointments and we would ask where possible you contact the surgery before 11:30 am for on the day matters.
All callers requesting a same day appointment will be asked to provide details of the medical matter so that it can be signposted and triaged by the appropriate clinician. To ensure safe practice you will receive a call back at a time appropriate to the urgency of your matter deemed by the clinician.
Matters that are not deemed urgent will be offered a next available pre-bookable appointment.
Please remember the surgery is working in ways to protect you, our staff and the wider community.
Thank you for your co-operation.

Face Masks Guidance - From 19th July 2021
To all our patients and representatives, throughout the pandemic we have strived to make the surgery as safe as possible for our patients, staff and visitors. We have remained open throughout and will continue to do so. From the 19th July 2021, guidance around face mask wearing is changing for some organisations.
At Cannington Health Centre nothing will change, and we ask that you continue to wear your mask when visiting the surgery. Please use the hand sanitisers available and keep your distance from others. As a healthcare provider we have sick and vulnerable patients coming to see us (remember some of these cannot have the vaccines) they need to be protected, so it would be wrong of us to remove the precautions we have in place.
The pandemic is not over and COVID 19 has not gone. Please help us to continue to keep you, our staff and wider population all safe.
